The atmosphere, incredible food and spectacular service are what Beach Walk is known for, and you don’t want to miss out. 2. Cissy’s Café

This adorable little café just opened, but it’s already become one of the most popular spots for breakfast and great coffee. The chef bakes fresh pastries every morning, and the breakfast burrito is one of the best. Still, if you’re not a big breakfast person, their lunch is wonderful, too. The Cissy’s Cuban Sandwich has become a local favorite, and the pizza is delicious.

3. Horizons

If you’re looking for a place with spectacular craft cocktails, Horizons is going to be one of your favorite places to eat in Destin. In addition to those great cocktails, their food is just as wonderful. We love the crispy cauliflower and the red snapper bites. Also, if you’re a big fan of fish sandwiches, theirs is out of this world good.

4. Primrose

If you’re looking for a great seafood restaurant, Primrose is for you. It features a Gulf-to-table concept, and it’s led by Chef Gary Palm, who has studied and practiced culinary arts around the world. Plus, this restaurant has an incredible sushi bar with all of your favorites.

5. The Cantina

While this option is only open to guests of Henderson Park Inn and Henderson Beach Resort, its delicious burgers make it one of the best places to eat in Destin. Seriously, these burgers are next level. The patties come from the same company that fine dining restaurants in this area get their filets from, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Plus, it’s a great place to enjoy a frozen drink beachside.
