5. Shopping at Destin Commons or Silver Sands Outlet

In our area, there isn’t a fully indoor mall, but both Destin Commons and Silver Sands provide covered walkways to shield visitors from the elements. Plus, there are so many wonderful shops that you’ll likely spend most of your time inside the stores anyway. They have all your favorites from Lush and J.Crew to local boutiques and tasty dining options. And, both are a quick drive away from the inn.

Still, our outdoor activities are why so many people flock to our area. From spending a day on a charter fishing boat to relaxing on the beach, our natural features are the best part, but sometimes the weather isn’t perfect or a sunburn puts you in need of some shade.
